Wanda Cinema Line continues expansion with 350 Christie Solaria Digital Cinema Projectors

One of world’s largest cinema chains and largest in Asia sets course with Christie

Wokingham, UK − (11th June 2013) – Christie® a global leader in digital cinema projection, announced today that Wanda Cinema Line, Asia’s largest cinema chain, has added 350 Christie Solaria Series 2K and 4K digital cinema projectors to its expanding screen base in China. Upon successful installation of the projectors, Wanda will have 1000 Christie digital cinema projectors operational under its wings.

With 86 five-star cineplexes and 730 movie screens to date, Wanda Cinema Line accounts for 15% share of the national box office in China, making it one of the leading cinema chains in the world. The chain plans to expand its operations to more than 200 cineplexes and 2000 movie screens nationwide by 2015.
