Netflix looked at buying the second largest cinema chain in the US before it was snapped up by British group Cineworld for £2.4billion, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Sources said the $200billion TV streaming giant was among the parties in the running to buy America’s Regal Cinemas before Cineworld struck its deal in November 2017.
