Nashville’s historic Belcourt Theatre continues cinema tradition during COVID-19 pandemic

Silent films, playhouse performances, the Grand Ole Opry, independent cinema — for nearly 100 years, the Belcourt Theatre has provided a vital space for Nashville’s arts enthusiasts.

And, although doors to the renovated filmhouse and education center temporarily shuttered last month, a global pandemic isn’t stopping the non-profit group from entertaining and enlightening community members.
