Milford rolled out the red carpet to welcome the movies back to town.The village saw the old Milford Cinema reopen May 12 with a new name, look and feel. Now called the Milford Independent Cinema, the smell of popcorn is back at the theater at 945 E. Summit.
“People have been really excited,” said Rich Trice, one of the board members of the nonprofit now running the theater. “Popcorn’s been going out the window because people can’t wait to get movie theater popcorn.”
