Cinema Crossroads in Portage is adding another element to its movie-going experience.
The cinema near the Crossroads Mall recently added an IMAX screen and now will add D-Box seating in two rows of another screen. D-Box seats move with the action of the film, think recliner meets stationary roller-coaster. The seats use three types of movement — subtle pitch, roll and heave, according to a press release from the Grand Rapids-based Celebration! Cinema, which operates the Portage movie house.
