May 21, 2008 Digital cinema industry consortium Digitalfie on Tuesday announced plans to begin testing a series of new digital cinema services that the group says can help exhibitors increase sales by as much as a fourth. The pilot project will be hosted by U.K. digital exhibitor Kino Cinemas, one of the members of the consortium, but it is open to other European exhibitors as well.
